(Didn’t have my phone under the truck, so no pictures. Instead, here’s a picture of the dog pretending to drive The Ranger.)
While I was tending to some other household stuff, Lady SonicGabe wrenched on the new rear shocks. There was one bolt that needed both of us to get enough torque to loosen it. But she took the lead on this and finished with a quickness. And it started pouring down rain, too. She’s covered in all the oil from that filter leak a while back. I’m so turned on right now.
Tomorrow, weather permitting, we do the fronts.

Ranger shocks are pretty easy arent they. Cheap too. I paid $20 a corner for my KYBs

Yeah, it’s not too crazy of a job. We think the shocks that are/were on there are the originals.

I know mine were. motorcraft shocks should be black with a plastic piston shroud. also they say motorcraft on em
